following chromev's advice..changed the opacity of the dice and letters...and also made the car paint a bit brighter.comments welcome.

it looked better the first time( highs and lows),,but then i don't know waht happened

For this sort of thing I normally use Multiply and turn it down a bit,I find the highs and lows look more natural.

for the dice it was overlay..plus i duplicated the dice layer cause its a bit transparent as it is.

What blend mode did you use, the high light 2 thirds down the door seems to get a bit lost where the dice is.

and by the way..what you are looking at is not a real car per-say...it's a 3d model of a real car.

oh chromev..i didn't use a displacement map...it's a brush.
